Holiday Return Policy

Items purchased between November 1 and December 24 are eligible for extended holiday returns. All qualifying items may be returned or exchanged until January 15.
To be eligible, products must be unused, in original condition, and include all packaging and tags. Final sale items, discounted items, and personalized products are not eligible for return.

Our regular return policy resumes for orders placed on or after December 25. To submit a return under our Holiday Return Policy, please contact our team at support@thecottondressco.com.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14-days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

We offer FREE size exchanges only. Please follow the instructions below on how to submit your request:

  2. Select the product you wish to return and enter the return reason.

  3. Select the exchange size you prefer and submit your request.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, along with instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Other return reasons, if approved, will incur a 10% restocking fee unless the item is received damaged, incomplete, or incorrect.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch with us if you have any questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
We offer FREE size exchanges only. When you submit your request and once approved, we’ll provide you with a return label to send the item back to our facility. After it’s inspected and approved, we’ll ship your exchange right out to you. Exchange request are NOT subject to restocking fee.

European Union 14-day cooling-off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

Approved Returns (Non-Defective / Other Reasons)

We will issue store credit with 10% restocking fee value of the returned item.

  • Store credit never expires.
  • It can be used on any future purchase.
  • Once your return is received and inspected, your store credit will be issued.

Please note that refunds to the original form of payment are not available for these types of returns.
